KUMA Brakes is proud to have purchased Hydro-Québec Renewable Energy Certificates. In purchasing RECs, we have become the sole owner of the environmental attributes associated with our use of 100% renewable electricity sourced from local renewable wind energy. The number of RECs purchased corresponds to the amount of MWh our facilities consume within a year for the manufacture of parts intended for the wind sector. The purchase of these RECs, confirms KUMA Brakes commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development.

To maintain our high quality standards and safety of the final product, every worker, supervisor, engineer, manager and so forth is responsible for the inspection of every item being made and providing their feedback and immediate corrective action (if necessary) to ensure an absolute level of quality. Passing defective products is strictly prohibited.
