On top of that, KUMA Brakes is certified by the full scale Dynamo Test with extreme cold weather (ECW) temperature test and proven performance by the smartest testing solutions in the industry.

Tested and Approved Under Extreme Weather

Because of the impacts of cold climate, the wind turbines need to be better equipped to handle winter conditions. Under these extreme temperatures, materials react differently and the components must be reliable. This is why we developed and targeted solutions to improve every form of weather conditions performance.
Therefore, our wind turbine brake pads have been tested in real life situations in extreme weather conditions. The field testing conducted by Innergex Wind Farm on a GE turbine shows that service life expectancy is up to 7.3 years.
